I just inherited a South Bend Lathe from my late grandfather. He was a machinist all his life, so I don't know what is original, and what he added. It sits in a metal tray on heavy metal legs about 3 foot off the ground, with post on the legs for the extra gears to sit on. It is a C9W10JR, cat # 915-ZC, serial number 103746 J.E.P. 
I can tell from your website that it dates from about 1940, but how can I find out more information on it. I need a belt, but I don't have the old one to even know what kind to look for. Any information would be helpful.
