AS THE THIRD OWNER AS FAR AS I KNOW, I BOUGHT IT FOR $500 IN 2006 AT A YARD SALE IN KALISPELL ABOUT THREE MILES FROM HOME, WITH TOOLING AND ABOUT 200 LBS. OF TOOL BITS. THE CARRIAGE/APRON OF THE OPEN TYPE, HAS A SINGLE-WALL WITH WICKED OIL-HOLES UNDER WHICH I HAVE HUNG A CATCH-PAN WITH SMALL CHAINS TO ALLOW EASE OF REMOVAL IN DUMPING THE EXCESS OIL. I HAVE SINCE ADDED A 1-1/2 HP 220V SINGLE-PHASE ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH A FORWARD AND REVERSE DRUM SWITCH MODULE AND PIGTAILED TO THE 220V OUTLET SO I CAN UNPLUG AND MOVE THE MACHINE AS NECESSARY, PLUS A STEADY REST, ALORIS/PHASE II TYPE TOOL HOLDER SYSTEM, THE MACHINE HAS BEEN REPAINTED AS WELL AS ALL COMPONENTS AND PLACED THE WHOLE MACHINE ON 8" I-BEAM RISERS SO I DON'T HAVE TO BEND OVER, ANYMORE. I INTEND TO CONVERT TO A SERPENTINE BELT DRIVER BEFORE LONG TO ELIMINATE THE SLAP OF THE SPLIT LEATHER BELT WHICH CAUSES SOME VIBRATION AND SWAY. I AM PRESENTLY WORKING ON A HOLDING DEVICE LIKE THEY USE ON TRANSVERSE MOUNTED ENGINES IN CARS TO STABILIZE THE MACHINE SO IT WONT ROCK ON THE LEGS WITH A REMOVABLE FASTENING BETWEEN THE MACHINE-COUNTERSHAFT-COLUMN AND THE GARAGE WALL WITH A QUICK-RELEASE PIN.
