Dear Sir
I have a restored and in use South Bend lathe.
You may add its details to the new SN data base.
This information is on a plate on the change gear cover
and the SN on the end of the bed.
I do not have the SN card info from Grissly.
It is a bottom counter shaft feed,  six speed, 9 inch swing.
The lathe was originally owned by the Commonwealth of Australia, The Ministry of Munitions.
It still has a plate riveted to the back of the bed stating: 
“ This equipment is the property of the Commonwealth of Australia  Ministry of Munitions”
It contributed the Second World War victory.
