Interesting thing about this lathe,
I grew up about 1/2 mile from Carey's main office on Bhrems Lane.
This lathe was sold new to the Calhoon Engineering school which I later attended in 1975-78,
and may have used this very lathe in the machine shop course I took there.
This lathe has seem 30 years of hard use but amazingly is still in good shape, runs good and cuts true.
