My father purchased this lathe 30 years ago and I recently inherited it. It needs some TLC but the wear doesn't seem excessive. I'm have a bit of a challenge deciphering the serial number. Appears to be vintage 1942, but I'm not finding information for  LQR  on the websites I've found.
I believe it is a 13", does not have a quick change gearbox, does have a taper attachment.
