Attached is a South Bend S/N Card, S/N Photo, and overall photo for a 1969 CLC8117E 16 X 8 South Bend Lathe with Special Controls that I'm currently restoring.  I purchased from Government Liquidators last fall.  I believe it was in service for its entire life at a Naval Air Station in Washington State.

I want to submit this for the database.  I plan to use the lathe for personal use after restoring it.
