 I just received a copy of the build card for my South Bend 9”, model C lathe. If I understand it correctly, the order was received on 2-7-42, but it was not shipped until 5/29/43. The dealer it was delivered to was, A.C. Bisgood of Bridgeport, CT.. It was sold to the Andersen Cont. Machine Co., also of Bridgeport, CT.. In all its years it has only traveled 16 miles from where it first sold. Except for the motor, which was originally a 220 V three-phase, nothing has changed. I've just started its restoration.
