S/N: 145,292 ??/??/1943 SB Heavy 10 Lathe 4-1/2' Bed Metric Transposing Gears Single Lever Quick Change Box Collets Follower Rest Taper Attachment Westinghouse 3/4 HP 208 V 3-Phase, Dual Pulley Under Drive, 3-Pulley Flat Belt Spindle U-Shaped Pipe, 5-Drawer Stand I bought this South Bend Heavy 10 lathe from the local E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association) build shop at Cable Airport, Upland, California It was surplus to them, not enough members knew how to use it, so I bought it for $200 in May, 2012. Just added a TECO VFD to power the lathe and ran it the first time August 16, 2015. My "guess is that E.A.A. may have gotten this lathe from Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut, California, but that's only a guess.
