It has a Property of US Government tag on the headstock,
was told it came from Timet, Henderson N,
it was well pickled with cosmoline and has set for years,
the lathe shows some minor wear and the electrics seem to have been upgraded,
an AC Automatic Starter size "0" type 4X (don't have a clue to its function ?),
mounted on the side, a modern on-off switch mounted on the front,
I also see modern plastic insulated wire to the first junction box...to the motor ?,
not checked...cleaning/removing cosmoline has kept me busy...
Timet Co. was a National Priority program for the WWII effort...and still has that status...
