I am the second owner of this machine,
which was originally purchased 19 January 1949,
from the Triplex Supply Company in Milwaukee.
By luck the machine still had all of its original paperwork with it,
the receipt, payment coupons, 1949 catalog, brochures and installation notes,
such as for the Thread Indicator Dial.
This is my first lathe,
and I feel so lucky to be able to clean and preserve this wonderful piece of history.
