It has a hardened bed,
but doesn't have the "Flame Hardened" tag used on earlier models.
My lathe has a drain in the pan for a coolant-circulating pump, but no pump.
There are drain holes in the bed between the ways just to the right of the headstock.
There are also brass "dams" near the right end of the headstock,
to prevent coolant from running under the headstock.
