This lathe has been assembled from all brand new old stock parts.,
The serial numbered bed came out of the factory after the auction.,
The lathe shares the same serial number as a lathe that was longer and shipped to a customer in NY that year.,
SB shipped the wrong length bed machine and it was returned and all the components,
were swapped out onto a 42-inch bed and then shipped.,
As all the paper work was in place identifying this serial number this bed could not be used again,
and was just put on the shelf. It has taken four years to find all the new parts to complete the project.
