built in 1946,
I purchased it in June of 2015 from the original owner,
which was a company that did non-metallic fabrication,
I was told by the currant president of the company,
that his grandfather bought the lathe new and that it was rarely used,
Indeed, he thought it wad not been touched since 1980,
I cleaned and lubricated everything, and it is now in service again in my machine shop,
It is in very good to excellent condition, holds great tolerances,
and has a lot of the original paint in tact.
