I found your South Bend Lathe database and thought I would add my serial card.
The lathe was my great grandfather's. I don't know much about when it was bought, or where.
That is why I ordered the serial card for it.
I do know that my grandfather was the head of research and development for Bethlehem Steel Company.
He lived in Allentown PA, and retired to Asheville, NC.
I assume he bought the lathe new, but don't know for sure.
I am the 3rd generation in my family to own the lathe.
I have attached the serial card front and back, and some pictures of the lathe.
