I have just picked up what I believe to be an early 1947 9A. The serial # is 59NAR7,
The plate on the QC box says cat.#444 then sort of a triangle stamp, point down,
bed length 3. South Bend is cast into on a rib between the ways, visible looking down between the ways,
Stamped behind the headstock between the v's is 186596,
between the v's on the tailstock end is B102.
