72157, Shipped: 04/06/1937, 9" x 3', Series R, Catalog No. 109-Y, Returned to SBL: 02/22/1939, reconfigured: Series T, Shipped:08/29/1940, See Serial number cards (2), This particular lathe is fairly special to me. I received it from my father who received it from my grandfather. My Grandfather, after the war, went to work at Ross Operating Valve in Detroit, Michigan. When the lathe I am now caretaker for came up for sale as surplus at Ross, my grandfather purchased it for my father who was studying machining/tool making in school. My father has since passed the Lathe to me. The lathe still works however the leadscrews are quite worn and I intend on doing as much of a restoration I can. I will send you photos, when I can, before and after. I just need to figure out if the Blue paint is original or not. I have seen other 109y's wearing the same blue. She isn't a big girl, but she's special to me. Thanks for you time. Ken
