I purchased an 11"- 4' 1939 UMD lathe from an 84 year old gentleman that bought it for his Tampa, Fl. race car shop in early 1970's and moved it back to Ohio when he returned home after retiring to Sandusky, Oh. Serial # 91867 which I bought a s/n card for. I would like to send all the info that I know of this lathe so you can publish it for others to see and use as a reference as I have from your site.  I may also have additional info I may find in the future as I restore it and pass on. This 11" lathe is not as common as many of the others. I will send a pic of the sn. card, motor card and pics of other details I have found. Feel free to use and edit as you see fit.
