A friend gave me this lathe many years ago. I am a newbie and not sure how to measure the lathe. From end to end it measures approximately 11 feet. From to 3 jaw chuck to end it is approximately 8 feet. From bed to center of chuck approximately 12 inches. There is a gear box with shift handle, a 5 hp 3 phase motor & power converter to drop to single phase. 
 
I am in the process of having to move to a new house & trying to disassemble the lathe to move it. When I received this lathe years ago I built my machine shop around the lathe after the concrete floor was poured. Unfortunately afterwards came on hard times & the shop was unused till now.
 
At the new house & shop I will be working toward restoring this lathe.
 
Any & all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can tell you the lathe works great with the exception of automatic cross feed the gear has 3 broken teeth. Other than that everything else appears to be working.
